Looking to stay calm and content on the big day?

POMPOM is all about the big life-changes in women's lives. Getting married is a beautiful celebration, but it's not without its stress!

Why not take the load off and have a bespoke 1:1, partner or small group yoga session before your ceremony? We'll do gentle (non-sweaty) movement, calming breathwork and relaxing meditations, so you can walk down the aisle feeling calm and confident.

How a wedding yoga session can fit into your morning

Many brides choose to begin their wedding day with a short, calm session before the preparations begin. A typical timeline might look like:

  1. wb_sunny Wake up and settle into the day
  2. self_improvement Gentle yoga, breathing and relaxation (45–60 minutes)
  3. local_cafe Light breakfast or tea with close friends or family
  4. face Hair and make-up preparations begin
  5. checkroom Getting dressed and final preparations

Starting the morning with calm movement and relaxation can help ease nerves, reduce physical tension and allow you to feel more present and confident as the day unfolds. Sessions are designed to feel peaceful and supportive rather than energetic or demanding.

Evening sessions are also available, to help you feel calm and sleep well the night before.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book?

Booking as early as possible is recommended, especially during peak wedding season. However, last-minute enquiries are always welcome if availability allows.

How many people can I have at my yoga session?

It depends how many you want to involve and how much space you have. It can be lovely to have the bridal party relaxing together, you can have a moment of peace with your future husband, or let your helpers do the work and spend a little time on you! Whatever is going to help you enjoy your special day.

Do I need special clothing or equipment?

Comfortable clothing you can move in is perfect. Yoga mats and basic props can usually be provided if needed — this can be confirmed when booking.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions can be held at homes, holiday accommodation, wedding venues, or outdoor spaces (weather and privacy permitting). A suitable flat space for movement is usually all that is needed.

Do I need to have done yoga before?

Not at all. Sessions are suitable for complete beginners as well as those with previous yoga experience. Everything is adapted to the group attending.
